Today Richard went to Eskdale to meet with author Alan Cleaver for a little event. Emily, Tika and I decided to travel down with him so we could do our own little walk. We parked at Dalegarth station, stopped in the cafe for coffee then let Richard go on his merry way. We did a lovely little circular walk down towards St Catherine’s Church and the River Esk, then up to St Catherine’s well and through Hows Wood where we stopped for our lunch. We then walked back along the road to the station where we met up with Richard.
