A lovely trip to York with the family to enjoy the delights of the Christmas markets. At around midnight I ventured out from the hotel to capture The Shambles without all the visitors. It was a wonderful experience walking along the sleeping streets and alleys, and the only people I saw were a few couples passing by enjoying a lovely romantic midnight walk.
