What an amazing week it’s been for photography — and where better to enjoy the early autumn colours than Borrowdale? Here are a few shots from today’s walk: up to Castle Crag from Rosthwaite, along the old packhorse route and down to Seatoller, then through Johnny Wood and back to Rosthwaite. I rounded the day off with a loop around Stonethwaite — a grand way to finish a truly memorable day in my favourite valley.
As well as photographing a walk for the Lakeland Routes website, I was also able to gather some shots for the end of Day 2 and the beginning of Day 3 for the Lakeland Way website. I now have all the photos needed for both of these sections on the Lakeland Way.
