Here are a few photos from Today’s walk: up to Sty Head from Seathwaite, along the Esk Hause route via Sprinkling Tarn and Angle Tarn, and then down through Langstrath from Stake Pass. The objective was to photograph part of Day 2 on the Lakeland Way. This section, along with part of Day 5 between Keswick and Dockray, is among the most difficult to capture because they are the only stretches of the walk that head east towards the sun. Both have proved very problematic, and each will require three separate visits to secure the right images for the Lakeland Way website.
