Huge congratulations to Sharon and Stevie on completing the 144 miles of the Lakeland Way on Sunday 30th June 2024. We met them at the crossing of the estuary, just a mile or so from the finish at the Ravenglass Market Cross, where we celebrated their achievement with Champaign and a few drinks at The Pennington. Well done ladies, that was tough going over that terrain in that heat. You are now the 3rd and 4th persons to complete this new long-distance walk in the Lake District.
