On Sunday, I went to the Ennerdale Scout Centre to meet up with Emily and Jaclyn, who had both spent the weekend tent-pitching, den-building, pioneering, canoeing, and hiking. It was great to witness the presentations—Emily received a Chief Scout’s Bronze Award certificate—and also their AGM, which was very interesting. The day was made extra special by the fact that I had turned up just in time for the barbeque!
