There’s a lovely smell in the air that’s saying spring is just around the corner, and life in Borrowdale is stirring with the sounds of farmers preparing for the season ahead. Although our visit was a simple short walk around the centre of this delightful valley of Lakeland, it was nice to be back eating cake and chatting with the locals. We then enjoyed a bit of window shopping and chips in Keswick.
