Some favourite photos from yesterday’s walk, starting in Grasmere and climbing Tarn Crag via the East Ridge and Greathead Crag, before passing Codale Tarn to ascend Belles Knott, then descending to Easedale Tarn and returning to Grasmere.
Along the ridge and on Greathead Crag, we found a lovely flat, grassy shelf for a future camp, looking out over the Vale of Grasmere. Tika certainly approved and even checked which way he’d lie in the tent.
Very cold and blustery, but a superb short walk for this time of year, with plenty of interest throughout.
