Not exactly in its ideal habitat or season, but this was a test pitch of our new tent, the Hilleberg Allak 3 Limited, at Chapel House Farm in Borrowdale. Only 100 of this limited edition Allak 3 exist worldwide, so we feel very fortunate to have one here in the Lake District — where it will soon be appearing on the summits of the Lakeland Fells.
We wanted a strong family tent, primarily for winter summit camping, with two spacious vestibules, which is why we chose the Allak 3. When we then came across this purple version, we fell in love with it straight away.
