It is a lovely, crisp autumnal day at the back end of October and Jaclyn and I set out to photograph parts of Day 8 of the Lakeland Way. It was back in October 2023 that we last attempted to photograph this section between Troutbeck and Grasmere, but on that occasion clouds periodically moved in and spoiled the chance of capturing a full album of the route. In addition, there has been a route change at the start in Troutbeck since we last visited.
On this day, however, we got lucky and were able to photograph all the ‘points of interest’ that had been missed previously. The full set will now be added to the Lakeland Way website very soon.
