Today we visited Wasdale Head to walk a short recce for the Lakeland Way, between The Wasdale Head Inn and Burnthwaite Farm B&B and Holiday Cottage. This route along Fogmire Beck offers a far more interesting approach to the farm than the stony track that the route follows at present. A route update and more information will be added to the Lakeland Way website very soon.
The weather was wonderful, and it was also very nice to chat with Andrew and Georgina at the farm. Thank you both for all your support.
