Today we headed off to Sharrow, a group of cottages on the south-east shores of Ullswater, to select some Lakeland stone for picking up the following day. There’s 70 tons available, but I’m only needing 4 tons for a garden project at home; I think 4 tons is enough for my back anyhow! While in the area we continued up the road and into Martindale to take Tika for a little walk. There he was introduced to some sheep belonging to Watercrag Farm, and an inquisitive duck in Howegrain Beck. He is so well-behaved around animals, even at this early age of 15 weeks. He’s doing well with the swimming too!
