Quick splash about with the kids at Threlkeld this morning. Training Tika off the lead when folk pass by. He’s doing really well and growing fast. Sadly Frankie can only walk short distances now; difficult to grasp that he was climbing the Langdale Pikes only a few months ago, but at least he’s enjoying these little dips in the becks with Tika. Even though it was a difficult decision to make at the time, we are now in no doubt that it was a good idea to get Tika when we did. Frankie is certainly benefitting from the new addition to the family. I have of course had to put my own Lakeland walks on hold for a while, but family life will always come first.
