It was a double header today. Firstly, a visit to the beach at St Bees with Emily and Tika; this was Tika’s first visit to the sea, and he met a lovely border collie called “Ted” who was very playful with him. We finished off, like you do, with ice cream on the seafront, and then headed back home for lunch. In the afternoon, Jaclyn and I walked a small section of the Lakeland Way from Braithwaite to Portinscale. I’d been waiting for over three months to get perfect conditions to take photos for the website, so this was a great opportunity and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
