The Lakeland Way Ultra
A huge congratulations to inov-8 ambassador Sarah Perry on completing the Lakeland Way Ultra, and being the first to do so. Sarah endured horrendous weather conditions during the 130 miles of rough Lakeland terrain, most of which was in complete darkness. I have never witnessed a person push themselves through so much to achieve what most of us would think is humanly impossible.

At 07:30 on Saturday, at the Ravenglass Market Cross, Sarah started the challenge and arrived back at the Ravenglass Station turntable at 00:49 on Monday. That’s 41 hours and 19 minutes, but the exact time and mileage is yet to be confirmed.

The information for the Lakeland Way Ultra is work in progress, but if you would like the GPX file of the route you can download it via the link below. If you complete the challenge and want your details added to the website, please send me a copy of your recorded track and a brief report of your run, including date, time, conditions and feedback etc. We hope to complete the information for this page as soon as possible.
