Out walking today with George Kitching of Lakeland Walking Tales and Chris Butterfield of Alfred Wainwright Books and Memorabilia. We climbed Scafell via Lord’s Rake and Deep Gill, and visited the likes of Scafell Pinnacle and Pisgah Buttress before reaching the summit of Scafell. We then descended down to Foxes Tarn, over Mickledore and followed the Brown Tongue route back to Wasdale.
