I thought, for a nice change, that I would attend a walking meet-up here in the Lakes. I’ve been so wrapped up in other projects that I was in need of some social time in the outdoors, and what better way to do so than to join a Lakeland Meet Ups event.
This event — a loop around Grasmere, arranged by the lovely Jane Clark — was to remember Sue Lennon, a member of Lakeland Meet Ups who sadly passed away last year.
Sadly, I never met Sue, but it was very clear from conversations on this walk that a lot of people were very fond of her, and she will be greatly missed.
