We are nice and snug in the Nallo 2.
A spur-of-the-moment decision to pitch at Chapel House Farm in Borrowdale to test out the new tent, along with a few other new things, before we take it up onto the high fells.
It’s been many years since I camped in a tunnel tent, but so far, I’m loving it. Jaclyn has always liked the claustrophobic feel of being in a tent like this, which is why she loved the Akto many years ago. Sadly, we let that one go, but this one has enough room for two.
There’s some really bad weather on the way, so it will certainly get a good test tonight.
We are just finishing our mugs of Belgian Choc Mint drinks by Options, and then it’s earplugs in and heads down for the night.
